Old Post i never published from January....oops!

So we made our own king cake for Mike's birthday (Jan 7) and i was still sick so i couldnt taste that day but as of a day or so ago i had a leftover peace and wow it came out so good, just like the bakery's. The recipe we got had just a tad too much lemon and i think too little cinnamon but we will adjust that for next time. Oh and here are the video's Jada made for Josephine below too, one of them was Jada playing with a stamp kit she got for christmas and the other video was Jada building a city in our house and she was taking me on a tour. Following that are a few other pictures from Christmas.
Oh Jennifer by the way i think Josephines pictures were funny, Jada takes my little camera everywhere we go and i have tons of pics from "her point of view" i will include some of my favorites...its funny how they view the world.

Jada Bada Ballerina 2008

So a week or two ago Jada and i were looking through thrift stores for fun and walked into this new boutique and while browsing we ran across childrens bathing suits. Jada saw this one and went nuts she thought it was the cutest thing. Up close the little white things are hearts and the bonus for her was the skirt with ribbons. The day we bought it i had her try it on and she wore it around the house all day...she even wanted to wear it to bed(no i didnt let her).

These are some pictures of Jada doing some science experiments. She picked out books at the library about solids liquids and gases, I was looking at books of planets but she grabbed those and insisted on getting them so i obliged. We did the penny and water to illustrate surface tension and jada was giggly over how many drops of water the penny could hold. I think we made it to thirty drops.

So the story here is Jada wouldnt talk if i was filming her so i pretended to take a picture of her robot and i guess i bought Jada from granny for 5cents, go figure! :)

Here a few pics much belated from jadas birthday party! One is her on the counter baking her cake or more like eating her raw cake, and then she wanted to dress up like a princess, for her party and blowing out the candles...the last is just one of many many many rainbows we see here got this one landing on my house :)...2 if you look close and they were both full arches...never saw so many rainbows before.
